The Ashigaru Mk1 is our micro class of FPV frame designed for discrete cinematic or whoop style flying. As the foot soldiers of feudal Japan, the ashigaru were often overlooked and underappreciated despite some rising through the ranks to become the most powerful conquerors in the nation.

As our micro class, the Ashigaru aims to provide the most versatile prop guarded and rigid frame in the smallest chassis possible. Meaning “light of foot,” the ashigaru were infantry soldiers employed by samurai during feudal Japan. Despite typically impoverish backgrounds, some rose to become the most powerful conquerors of Japan.

The micro frame is comprised of opposing solid-body plates with integrated prop guards weighing 31g including hardware for the stock 15mm stack height configuration. An optional Ashigaru Mk1 20mm Conversion kit is available adding 0.6g to the frame weight. The bottom plate is 2mm while the top plate is 1.5mm in thickness. The camera plates together are 2mm in thickness. All carbon fiber parts are cut from Toray T300 3K Twill matte black carbon fiber sheets.
