Ashigaru Mk2

The Ashigaru Mk2 is our micro basher boasting a 2.5mm solid body with a 118mm MTM wheelbase designed for 2.5-inch propellers.  Meaning “light of foot,” the ashigaru were infantry soldiers employed by samurai during feudal Japan. Despite typically impoverish backgrounds, some rose to become the most powerful conquerors of Japan.

While the Ashigaru Mk1 aimed to be a prop guarded micro platform, the Mk2 variant goes all in by doing away with the prop guards and boasting a thicker main plate for its size class measuring 2.5mm thick.  Capable of mounting a whoop stack, the Ashigaru Mk2 is a versatile micro basher designed for 2.5″ propellers.  The 118mm MTM 23g (including hardware) frame provides a variety of stack mounting options and room in the rear to mount smaller components.  The top plate measures 1.5mm thick and is secured to the main plate with four M2 aluminum standoffs.  The carbon fiber parts are cut from Toray T300 3K Twill matte black carbon fiber sheets.
